There is a wide range of interests and expertise within the Department, with almost 40 faculty members and around 80 graduate students in the Department. Because of this, students in Zoology can obtain specialized training in areas ranging from molecular biology to ecosystem study. The diversity of research programs also presents students with unique opportunities for a broad exposure to state-of-the-art biological research in areas outside of their main interests.
