History is one of the many things that makes The Christman Company unique. Originally founded in 1894 in South Bend, Indiana, Christman was incorporated in the State of Michigan in 1927 and established our Lansing headquarters in 1915, where we have continuously operated in the same building since that time. Over the years as the company grew, we established branch offices in Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, and Petoskey, Michigan, and expanded our services to meet the needs of the markets we served. While many things about our business and our company have changed through the years, some things remained constant-our orientation as managers and construction engineers, a relentless pursuit of quality, a management owned corporate structure, and a commitment to innovation.
