Founded in 1978, Urban Options is a non-profit community agency which provides energy and environmental information and services. Urban Options seeks to improve the environmental quality of our Urban Spaces. We fulfill this mission through educational programs and demonstrations of practical and healthful home and yard improvements. Urban Options also operates Michigan's Energy and Environmental Demonstration House. The house features a variety of exhibits dealing with insulation, air leakage, composting, gardening and recycling.
