at 518 S. Main Street, Eaton Rapids originally started as the Pettit & Rice Funeral Home in 1938. Glen Rice retired in 1944 and it became the Pettit Funeral Home until 1968 when Keith and Doris Shelly purchased it and changed the name to Shelly Funeral Home. The Shelly’s served this community with compassion and skillfulness for over 20 years.
