This site is brought to you by someone who cares very deeply about Detroit's history. I am a lifelong citizen of this area and have devoted my time and money to helping save our great Fort. The Fort is currently owned and operated by the City of Detroit. Every summer, the City’s Department of Parks and Recreation hosts historic re-enactments, special events and outdoor activities for visitors.
