The Michigan Disability Rights Coalition (MDRC) has established the TeleWork Loan Fund to help people with disabilities purchase equipment needed to work for an employer, or become self-employed, from home or at a telework center. United Cerebral Palsy of Michigan, the Financial Health Credit Union, and local community agencies have joined together to offer this program to persons with disabilities. Application sites will be available by September 2004 to assist individuals in filling out the loan application and to answer questions regarding the TeleWork Loan Fund.
