The Central Michigan Amateur Radio Club, or C.M.A.R.C., is the governing body responsible for local club activities. An affiliated group, the Lansing Civil Defense Repeater Association, or L.C.D.R.A., proudly supports five local repeaters. The first, 145.390, is located about 450 ft. above ground. Coverage of this machine is exceptional, reaching Alma, MI to the North, Brighton, MI to the East, Jackson, MI to the South and Ionia to the West. Of course, even the slightest band enhancement broadens the coverage immensely. Starting in 1999 this machine operates all emergency weather nets for SKYWARN, as well as all local disaster drills, walk-a-thons and bike-a-thons. (PL 100 Hz)...
