F.O.S. or Figures Of Speech, was born out of a desire to take a valiant stance in the movement of good music. F.O.S. currently reside in Lansing, MI but its members come from not only different backgrounds but also different cultures. Clokwise, of Russian-Jewish decent, hails from Toronto, Ontario while Verse-Is, African-American, hails from Detroit, MI. Their music has been compared but never pigeon-holed, complimented but never compromised, they have remained true to the art of hip-hop, their cultures and each other, F.O.S. yes.
