CAMTA is an organization of music teachers who live in and around Lansing, MI. It is affiliated with the Michigan Music Teachers Association (MMTA) and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Its purpose is to promote the professional development of CAMTA members through regular and special meetings devoted to workshops, panels, lectures, forums, recitals and sponsorship of musically-related activities; to provide musically related opportunities for students of CAMTA members, to act as the coordinator between the individual teacher and MMTA, and to promote the highest ideals of professional ethics.
