- Abrams Planetariumopened its doors for the first time in 1963, and for the past forty years it has continued to excite and inspire both young and old. The planetarium is named for Talbert "Ted" Abrams and his wife Leota. Ted Abrams was a leader in the field of aerial photography and during the early 1960's he and his wife contributed a sizable amount to Michigan State University in order to build a center of space science education.

- Urban OptionsFounded in 1978, Urban Options is a non-profit community agency which provides energy and environmental information and services. Urban Options seeks to improve the environmental quality of our Urban Spaces. We fulfill this mission through educational programs and demonstrations of practical and healthful home and yard improvements. Urban Options also operates Michigan's Energy and Environmental Demonstration House. The house features a variety of exhibits dealing with insulation, air leakage, composting, gardening and recycling.

- Uncle John's Cider MillOpen May-December with baked goods, cider and doughnuts, a large gift shop, seasonal fruits and vegetables, kids' corral and more. Every fall enjoy tractor-drawn wagon rides, train rides, an operating cider mill, pumpkin patch, fun house and more.

- Fenner Nature CenterFenner Nature Center is a park owned and operated by the City of Lansing, Parks and Recreation Department. It features 130 acres of mixed habitat with approximately miles of trails, some paved, through maple groves, pine plantations, swamp forests, old fields, and 3 different ponds. A Visitor Center houses an exhibition room, library/classroom, gift shop, restrooms, and staff offices. The Visitor Center and over ½ mile of paved trail are accessible to all. Fenner Nature Center is in a convenient location and offers free entry to visitors so that they may enjoy the beauty of nature. We hope to foster a greater awareness, understanding and appreciation of the natural world and thus a commitment to preserve it.

- The Michigan PrincessRiver Boat Enjoyment! The Michigan Princess was christened by Governor John Engler on June 21, 1991, and has 57 mayors on it's passenger log. The Grand Salon seats 180 and has an atrium, chandelier and dance floor.
The Princess Room seats 130, has a dance floor and overlooks the main dance floor. The Stern Wheel Room seats 60 and the Starboard and Port Rooms seat 24 each.The Captain's Room on the 3rd deck seats 60.

- MSU BUG HOUSE ON-LINEWelcome to the Bug House where we showcase insects, some of earth's most numerous creatures. There are more kinds of beetles in Michigan than there are varieties of birds on earth. Insects range in size from moths as large as bats to tiny wasps smaller than grains of sand. Their life spans can last a week to over twenty years. They live nearly everywhere, in pools of petroleum and in the brine of the Great Salt Lake. They survive the heat of Death Valley and the cold of the Antarctic coast. They are the stars of the Bug House.
