3 - Riviera Cafe
The Riv, located at the corner of Abbot and MAC in downtown East Lansing, is one of the seminal watering holes of East Lansing. The big weekday attractions to the Riv are the bi-weekly half off food days (Mondays and Wednesdays) and Burgerama on Thursdays, which includes extremely inexpensive burger and beer specials. Not uncommon to see lines at the front and back door on the weekends.

5 Stars for PT's from Jason H: "Man I used to love this place. I remember Thursday nights was when everyone wanted to be there. Great ambience, the hottest women, the bartenders were cool and if you hung out there on a regular basis, then you could get perks."

Lansing's Original Sports Bar (Established 1948: Hey, this is Art's Bar. Lighten up! That's what people have been doing at Art's for more than 50 years. How do you describe Art's? 2 - Dagwood's Tavern & Grill
Dagwood Tavern is a great place to get cheep beer. I think pitchers were $4 on a Wednesday night when I was there. Sit at the bar and watch the cook make your food (or clean the grill if you stay late enough). The bartenders were very friendly and attentive; they made me feel like a regular my first time at the bar. You can really find some classic songs on the Jukebox.

hosts one of Michigan 's largest brewpubs. Please feel free to take a look around our Virtual Brewery to see how your favorite beer is made. Our Brewmaster, Scott Isham, has been brewing here for years and has perfected his skill at Harper's. Harper's offers a wide selection of hand-crafted brews, but is known for the famous Spartan Wheat beer.
