I started playing alto saxophone in the fifth grade in the program at my school, played a little tenor and tuba in middle school but kept on playing alto through high school. In high school I started playing baritone saxophone with my band but stuck it out on alto. In 2004 I started my studies at the Jazz Studies Program at Michigan State University where I am currently finishing up my junior year. My sextet recently played at Baker's Keyboard Lounge in Detroit and The Firefly Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We were also featured guests on The Mitch Albom Show on WJR 760AM. I also have been playing (most) Tuesday's at Gregory's in Lansing with my quintet.

I'm a Michigander who plays pedal steel guitar, Tele, dobro, banjo, mandolin. Come festival time I'll whip out the fiddle at campfires. Over the years I've backed some bonafide stars like Bo Diddley, Tom Paxton, Dale Watson, John Sinclair, Greg Brown and appeared on many CD's and numerous commercial sessions - Food Network, Ford, GM, Meijer, Michelin, Pella Windows, Jim Beam, more. More recently I've played with the Lansing Symphony and also in the pit for the Always Patsy show. Hire me for your next session! Pro gear, relaxed attitude. Since its inception in 1996, The London Trio has delighted audiences throughout Michigan with its diverse repertoire, musicality, sensitivity, and expressive playing. The only classical music ensemble featured at the 2000 East Lansing Arts Festival, The London Trio was invited for a repeat performance in 2001.
