0 - Central Michigan Amateur Radio Club
The Central Michigan Amateur Radio Club, or C.M.A.R.C., is the governing body responsible for local club activities. An affiliated group, the Lansing Civil Defense Repeater Association, or L.C.D.R.A., proudly supports five local repeaters. The first, 145.390, is located about 450 ft. above ground. Coverage of this machine is exceptional, reaching Alma, MI to the North, Brighton, MI to the East, Jackson, MI to the South and Ionia to the West. Of course, even the slightest band enhancement broadens the coverage immensely. Starting in 1999 this machine operates all emergency weather nets for SKYWARN, as well as all local disaster drills, walk-a-thons and bike-a-thons. (PL 100 Hz)...

We are a student group at Michigan State University dedicated to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the good news of His imminent return, through a lifestyle of love, service and Biblical fidelity. We are a very diverse, multicultural group and it's our constant endeavor to provide a safe-haven where students can come as a family to receive support, spiritual nourishment, and experience personal revival in their lives. Small Group Bible Studies, Wednesdays with Jesus and Friday Night Vespers are some of the activities that mark our spiritual aspect.

0 - The Mid-Michigan Yoshokai Aikido
Aikido, the way of harmony, grew out of the combat disciplines of the Japanese Samurai. Founded in 1925 by Morihei Ueshiba, Aikido combines rigorous physical training and mental discipline. Aikido teaches one to unify both mind and body so that one's movements become spontaneous. It is an effective means of self-defense as well as an excellent way to improve physical fitness and relationships with others. It is not a "fighting" martial art but rather a path for personal growth. Although it does not involve sparring or competition, Aikido's basis in the fighting techniques of the Samurai is apparent in its powerful throws, pins, and weapon techniques.

On behalf of the members of the Arab Cultural Society (ACS) Executive Board I welcome you to our page on cyber space. ACS began nearly 2 decades ago as the Arab Student Organization, and sadly diminished by the late 90’s. However, the initiative taken by a small number of people 3 years ago helped rebuild a new Arab organization on the basis of reaching out to the MSU and local community in addition to raising awareness of the Arab culture, and heritage.
