Volunteers are surveying barns and farmsteads in their community as part of this documentation project. The survey is fun to do! It involves driving all the roads in a township, taking photographs of the barns you see, and filling out a survey form for each farmstead.

The Michigan Stained Glass Census is an ongoing project that focuses attention on a long-neglected portion of Michigan's cultural heritage. By researching and recording information about the origins, styles, and subject matter of architectural stained glass, the Census is creating an invaluable resource of visual and documentary material related to Michigan's social, religious, and art history. The Census is also encouraging individuals and groups to better appreciate and preserve the stained glass treasures in their own communities.

Founded in 1929, the Lansing Civic Players Guild encourages creative expression through community theater. Stages Six Shows per Season, including Dramas, Comedies, Mysteries and Musicals September through June. Six performances per show on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. Performances are at the Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbott Road in East Lansing.
