REPORT THIS LISTING 0 - CAPITAL AREA SWIM TEAM
Welcome to the Capital Area Swim Team (CAST)! CAST is a non-profit organization that is run exclusively by the parents of its swimmers. There are four separate swim sessions each year: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer sessions. The swimmers may enroll in as many sessions as they desire. Practice times are offered daily, Monday through Friday, and the swimmers are divided into four teams (Beginning swimmer, Sharks / Age Group I, Age Group II & Senior) according to their ability and age. The Beginning swimmer team is for the younger swimmers and those who do not know all four competitive strokes. This teams practice is offered 2 times a week. Sharks / Age Group I are swimmers who know all four strokes but need a transition team to help with the endurance part of swimming before they move to Age Group II. Age Group II & Senior teams practice is scheduled 5 to 6 days per week. Most generally swim 3-4 days a week.
