1 - Fenner Nature Center
Fenner Nature Center is a park owned and operated by the City of Lansing, Parks and Recreation Department. It features 130 acres of mixed habitat with approximately miles of trails, some paved, through maple groves, pine plantations, swamp forests, old fields, and 3 different ponds. A Visitor Center houses an exhibition room, library/classroom, gift shop, restrooms, and staff offices. The Visitor Center and over ½ mile of paved trail are accessible to all. Fenner Nature Center is in a convenient location and offers free entry to visitors so that they may enjoy the beauty of nature. We hope to foster a greater awareness, understanding and appreciation of the natural world and thus a commitment to preserve it.

1 - Forest Akers Golf Courses
Forest Akers is home to two great golf courses, a learning center, driving range, short game facility and two golf shops. The West Course is the home of the Michigan State University golf teams and hosts tournaments for both the men's and women's team annually. Many of the games' best players have been challenged on this course. The ZAGAT Guide to America's Top Courses has just awarded Forest Akers Golf Courses a Top Ten award for Best Value in its 2006/2007 release.

Public planetarium shows, featuring the Digistar II projector, are scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 P.M., and Sundays at 4:00 P.M. There are also special shows designed for families on Sundays at 2:30 P.M. Call the program information number (517) 355-4672, for exact showtimes and other information concerning the public shows.

0 - Visit Michigan's Capitol Dome and Capitol Complex
The Capitol, Library of Michigan, Michigan Historical Museum and State Archives of Michigan are all handicapper accessible. We invite you to visit and share our pride in our capital city. There is no charge to tour the Capitol or the Michigan Library and Historical Center. To arrange visits or tours for groups of 10 or more, please call the Capitol Tour and Information Service at 517-373-2353. All hours are subject to change.

Deb and Dave Burgdorf have been making wine for over 25 years. Deborah Burgdorf has a M.S. degree in Microbiology with over 15 years of experience in Fermentation. Dave Burgdorf has a B.S. degree in Agriculture and 30 years of experience working with Plants and Conservation Planning. Deb and Dave would like to share their Wine Making Experience by offering the opportunity for you to make a batch of your own customized wine at Burgdorf’s Winery. They will share their expert advice, the use of wine making equipment and space for wine fermentation and maturation. The outcome will be a finished product of 24 bottles of excellent wine with your custom designed labels to take home along with your wine making experience you’ll remember for a life time.
