- Copper Harbor and Okemos: Michigan TownsThe Ben and Marsha Kilpela Family alternates between Copper Harbor and Okemos, Michigan. Ben works at Michigan State University from September through May, and up north in June, July, and August in the family business, the Isle Royale Queen IV ferryboat to Michigan's Isle Royale National Park.
