20 - HORROCKS FARM MARKET
ESTABLISHED 1959: One of the best places in Lansing to get your freshest fruits and vegetables. They have a huge selection of fresh flowers and the floral shop is very impressive. They have a fresh deli that serves are variety of meats, cheese, salads and dips for all your party needs. This is one of my personal favorite spots to shop ~ JS.

9 - Meijers
A real Michigan company - Meijer started out as a local grocer - offering the best products and prices in town. Today we still offer the best groceries in town, and a whole lot more. In 1962 we opened the first Meijer Thrifty Acres, a food and general merchandise store. It was the birth of one-stop shopping and since then we've grown into a supercenter featuring over 40 departments with over 170 stores across the midwest! We're continuing to add more stores with our original philosophy in mind - extraordinary selection, low prices and friendly service.

9 - L & L Food Centers
We are a family owned and operated supermarket chain that has served Michigan families for over 72 years. Our company was established in 1931 when Walter and Anna Levandowski opened "L&L Supermarket", in Lansing, MI. Our company owns ten Lansing area L&L Food Centers,six of which include in-store pharmacies - Atlas Drugs, and the Levandowski Sausage Company, a USDA inspected meat processing plant; producing delicious hams, sausages and deli meats.

6 - Roma's Bakery and Deli (A Lansing Gem)
Our line of exquisitely crafted cakes for weddings and other special occasions, European-style tortes and pastries have pleased thousands of people in the Greater Lansing areas for over 35 years. It brings great pride to our hearts to offer the cakes and tortes which have been frequently requested by several generations of Lansing customers. But, of course, if you have other desires, we strive to accommodate your wishes.

4 - Oriental Mart on Grand River in East Lansing
The Oriental Mart has everything east of the prime meridian. Japanese / Vietnamese/ Chinese /Laotian / Thai / and even Indian foods and products can be found here. Unfortunately you can't read any of it, but that's okay! I buy my basmati rice here by the 10 pound bag and it's usually buy one get one free for $8 which is a great deal. I also love those ultra hot Ramen noodles they have, it's a great substitute for rice in a stir fry. It smells a little funky in there sometimes because of the seafood (including squid), but if it's Asian, you got it at the Oriental Mart. ~ Misi P.

Everyone is welcome to shop at the Co-op. Those who become members enjoy numerous options for involvement and for saving money. Directly support a local, member-owned venture and, in turn, numerous other local businesses whose products we offer. Enjoy shopping in a low-stress, people-oriented environment. Special order items for a lower price than purchasing them off the shelf. Have access to products other than those in plain view. Receive a return on your investment in the form of periodic membership appreciation discounts. Have the option of hands-on involvement through volunteering. Volunteers receive a discount on their Co-op purchases. Receive a 6% discount (excluding sale items and special orders) on attaining senior citizenhood.

2 - Spartan Country Market (East Lansing)
This little grocery store in East Lansing used to boast "Free Pop while you Shop" ... they had a soda fountain with tiny cups that you could fill up with pop while you shop. While I'm not sure if they still do that (I haven't been to that part of the store in awhile), they are still a great little grocery/alcohol store ... and they have a wide variety of both.
