Volunteers play a truly vital role in BoarsHead’s success! We rely upon community volunteers to usher for shows, man the concession stand, assist with mailings, house and provide limited transportation to our artists, and provide general office duties. Volunteers receive free admission to BoarsHead shows as well as other perks, depending upon the commitment of time.

3 - Capital Area Literacy Coalition
Tutors are needed to help children and adults in basic skill areas and in English as a second language. Workshops are held regularly to prepare tutors, and after tutors are matched with a students, follow-up services are provided.

Volunteers will play an invaluable role in the daily operations of the Charlotte Performing Arts Center. Volunteers will be required to have completed all screenings and related trainings prior to commencing their desired volunteer position.

In addition to stewardship positions for nature sanctuaries and plant preserves, but there are other opportunities as well. Volunteerism is the backbone of MNA. Without the hundreds of wonderful volunteers that have helped MNA over the years, we would not be where we are now. Volunteer Michigan is a project of AARP Michigan that serves all residents of Michigan who wish to volunteer for organizations in their communities. You do not have to be a member of AARP to volunteer for organizations other than AARP. Some organizations may have minimum age requirements for their volunteer positions, so check with them as you apply.
