Who will pass it on? The Jewish Historical Society (JHS) of Michigan was founded in 1959 to preserve and commemorate our past for future generations. The only volunteer organization dedicated exclusively to this purpose, the Society has amassed a storehouse of information about the events, traditions and lives of Jewish people throughout the state. Over the years, the JHS has documented hundreds of Jewish contributions to the arts, science, politics, business, education and social services.

The Islamic Society of Greater Lansing is a non-profit association that represents the Muslims in the Greater Lansing area. The association practices and conducts religious, social, cultural, and educational activities at the Islamic Center of East Lansing, located at 920 S. Harrison Road, East Lansing, Michigan. One of the goals of the Society is to promote unity among Muslims and deepen their feeling of brotherhood.
